Support war against banditry, Masari tells APC

KATSINA State Governor Aminu Masari has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the state to support the ongoing war against banditry and other criminal activities.

Masari who made the call yesterday while addressing the leadership of the party in the drawn from the 361 Wards and the  34 Local Government Chairmen in the state in an interactive meeting in Katsina, reminded them that the party pushed out PDP from power due to their inability to address insecurity  challenges in the state.

He also warned that it would be unwise for the party to be driven out of power for the same reason.

”Criticising government as being passive in the face of insecurity is fast becoming a 2023 campaign slogan”

”No President has spent so many resources on insecurity like President Muhammadu Buhari since the return to democracy in Nigeria.

”Security is very important; we are all involved and so should be vigilant, especially those of us living in the rural communities, should report suspicious movements and criminals”

”We should desist from informing kidnappers, rapists, about potential targets and movements of security operatives and the military”.

Governor Masari also warned that the military alone could not address the security challenges facing the state without the support of all and sundry

He urged party members to support the fight by not only informing security agencies but by taking charge and vigilantly collaborating with them.
